Last weekend we had a great time with Sarah and Vee, visiting us from London where they are currently living. Well done you two for giving up a weekend to visit an elderly aunt and uncle! Sarah was still buzzing about working on the movie Interstellar, so we’ve put it on our list to see in the near future (she works for Double Negative in London, a visual effects company, and was previously at Weta Workshops in Wellington – yes, we know we’re skiting).
One of the highlights was our Saturday trip to the Guinness factory, which was a first for me as well since arriving in Dublin, believe it or not, topped off by a complimentary glass of the foaming stuff at their Gravity Bar high above the factory which offers 360 degree views of Dublin.
